Charlotte Jorgensen is a former World, British Open, and  European Professional Standard Finalist as well as a World Amateur and Blackpool Professional Rising Star Champion who, during her competitive career, was widely considered to be the best female Standard dancer in the world. Jorgensen is now a widely sought after instructor, adjudicator and also a board member and official spokesperson for Dance 4 Health. 

Born in Denmark, Charlotte was one of the original Pros in the hit TV Show "Dancing With The Stars" and has choreographed for Richard Gere in the movie "Shall We Dance?"  She also holds a Professional Danish Dancers' Association teaching degree and is an Honors Graduate with a teaching and adjudicating license from the World Dance Council.

Galina Detkina is a distinguished professional dancer renowned for her achievements in the American Smooth ballroom dance category. Originating from Tomsk, Siberia, Russia, she embarked on her dance journey at the tender age of five, immersing herself in ballet and folk dance, with a primary focus on ballroom dancing. 

​

In 2006, Galina relocated to the United States, where she discovered and embraced the American Smooth style. Her dedication and talent led her to become a major finalist in competitions while based in New York City. Eventually, she settled in Miami Beach, Florida, continuing to advance her competitive dance career. 

​

Galina’s partnership with fellow dancer Roman Malkhasyan has been particularly noteworthy. Together, they have secured multiple titles, including being three-time U.S. National and World Professional American Smooth Champions from 2021 to 2023.  Their collaboration has been instrumental in elevating the American Smooth style within the ballroom dance community.

Beyond competition, Galina is dedicated to mentoring aspiring dancers. She conducts workshops and coaching sessions, sharing her extensive knowledge and passion for dance with the next generation. 

Rufus Dustin is one of the most famous, titled, and highly regarded dancers, coaches, choreographers, and certified adjudicators in the World.

A World Dance and DanceSport Council professional, he now provides coaching and choreography for some of the best professionals in the World, and he routinely acts as a judge at some of the most prestigious dance competitions throughout the World. He has been certified as an adjudicator by the NDCA, WD&DSC, and Fred Astaire Dance Studios Inc. in International Standard and Latin, American Smooth and Rhythm, and Theater Arts.

As a professional dancer, Rufus competed nationally and internationally, holding national titles in international Latin, American Rhythm and Theater Arts.

He currently choreographs for the top professionals and amateurs. He has performed all over the World, including special presentations at Blackpool.

Originally from Russia, he developed a strong foundation in Ballroom and Latin dance before discovering his true passion for Smooth. His unique style combines technical precision with expressive movement, setting him apart as a leading figure in the dance world.

Together, they have achieved significant success, including winning the U.S. National Professional American Smooth Championship in 2021. Their collaboration has been praised for its unique choreography and artistic expression, earning them accolades at various prestigious competitions.

Slawek Sochacki is a celebrated international ballroom dancer, coach, adjudicator, and Dance Vision examiner with an outstanding competitive legacy in American Smooth. Originally from Poland, Slawek began dancing at age 17 and quickly rose through the ranks under top European coaching before relocating to the United States in 2002. 

Together with his partner Marzena Stachura, he became one of the most dominant couples in American Smooth history — 4-time undefeated U.S. National American Smooth Champions (2010–2013) and 4-time undefeated World American Smooth Champions (2010–2013). They also won major titles including the Ohio Star Ball Show-dance, American Smooth World Cup, and numerous other top championships across the U.S. and Costa Rica, often sweeping every dance entered. 

Slawek and Marzena represented Poland in the World and European Championships in 10-Dance and Standard events (2005–2007), achieving a top-10 placement at the European Championships. 

In recognition of his lasting impact on dance sport, Slawek (with Marzena) was inducted into the United States Dance Championships Hall of Fame in 2023 — one of the highest honors in American ballroom. 

As a coach, Slawek’s teaching methods have helped students win dozens of U.S. and World titles across American Smooth, International Latin, International Ballroom, and 10-Dance divisions. 

Today he remains a respected international adjudicator, examiner, and instructor, sharing his expertise worldwide and shaping the next generation of champions.

Marzena Stachura is a distinguished international ballroom dancer, coach, adjudicator, and examiner renowned for her remarkable success in American Smooth. Born in Poland, Marzena began her dance journey at a young age and went on to represent her country in the 10-Dance and Standard divisions at the World and European Championships early in her career. 

Alongside her partner Slawek Sochacki, Marzena became one of the most dominant competitors in American Smooth history. Together they were 4-time undefeated U.S. National American Smooth Champions (2010–2013) and 4-time undefeated World American Smooth Champions (2010–2013), winning more than 70 championship titles across major events in the United States and Costa Rica without ever losing a dance. They claimed top honors at marquee competitions including the Ohio Star Ball, Emerald Ball, Embassy Ball, Millennium Dancesport, Manhattan Championships, and multiple World Cup events. 

In recognition of her contributions to ballroom dance, Marzena (with Slawek) was inducted into the United States Dance Championships Hall of Fame in 2023, one of the highest honors in the field. 

Since retiring from competition in 2013, Marzena has become a respected traveling coach, NDCA and WDC adjudicator, and Dance Vision examiner. She continues to influence dancers worldwide with her technical insight, passion for performance, and commitment to excellence in dance education. 

Alexandra Perzhu is a two-time World Professional Smooth Champion, a nine-time US National Professional Smooth Champion and a five-time US Professional 9 Dance Champion. Hailing from Russia, Alexandra now resides in New York where she is regarded as one of the top coaches in the country.  She is a choreographer, instructor and adjudicator and is the organizer of NY American Smooth Camp.
